For 5 GUM, artist Gabriel was tasked with giving the initial storyboards a look and feel that would be heroic. You can see just how close to the final film his first illustrations got.
Even the product shot was shot close to the initial illustrations.
The concept was all about focus. Getting the stare of the main characters was very important.
